Samantha Ashley Miller
The founder and managing partner of Gross & Miller, gained admission to the Georgia State Bar in 1997. A native of North Carolina, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University in 1992. In December 1996, she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from John Marshall Law School, where she served as the editor for The Advocate.
Ms. Miller is an active member of several legal associations, including the Atlanta Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She generously dedicates her time to volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Atlanta Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service. She serves as a Guardian ad Litem in Fulton County, Cobb County and the surrounding Atlanta metro counties.
Her primary area of practice is Family Law, although she also adeptly handles cases in criminal and personal injury law, recognizing the interconnections between different legal realms. Personally, Ms. Miller is married and the proud parent of two sons and a daughter. In her free time, she indulges in outdoor activities such as snow skiing, hiking, boating, and fishing.

Peter P. Gross
The managing partner of Gross & Miller and has been a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia since 1999. His journey into the legal field followed a notable start. After graduating from high school in 1984, he served three years in the United States Army, stationed at the Multi-National Forces and Observers in the Sinai Peninsula. During his service, he achieved the Expert Field Medical Badge, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal, culminating in an Honorable Discharge.
Post his honorable discharge from the United States Army, Peter pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Ecology. His professional experience included roles with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in upland game management and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in fish management.
Subsequently, Mr. Gross attended John Marshall Law School and successfully obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Throughout his career, he has focused extensively on Family Law, demonstrating expertise in jury trials, bench trials, contested motion hearings, and facilitating prompt resolutions for numerous clients seeking divorce actions. Additionally, Mr. Gross is a registered Mediator and Arbitrator, further enhancing his capabilities in the legal field.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. Gross is a dedicated family man. He is happily married and is the proud father of three children. In his leisure time, he enjoys pursuits such as hunting, golfing and cooking.
